The whole family went for a week’s holiday at
Higher Church Town Farm in Tresmeer Cornwall. Because it was a private family holiday, this blog entry is only here to keep our blog diary complete and therefore will not go into much detail.
In summary, we had a great time and the weather was wonderful. Higher Church Town Farm was really brilliant and the owners were delightful and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great time.
Our Cottage (“What a Beauty”) was part of a
converted barn and was very well equipped. Outside there was a large grass area with slides etc for children and a very safe pool. One highlight was that at 9 am, all of the children (and those adults who thought they were children) could go and feed the pet lamb. the latest chicks, the ducks and hens. Another was being taken on a guided tour
around the farm on a trailer towed by the farm tractor.
Whilst in Cornwall, we visited the Eden Project (good but expensive)
Lawrence House Museum in Launceston (really brilliant),
Launceston Castle (ok but not great), and the beach at Crackington Haven (very good).
And – it did not rain until the day we left!
